A spiritual journey that takes you through breathtaking landscapes in Nepal and Tibet, culminating in a visit to the sacred Mount Kailash and Manasarovar Lake. Here’s a detailed itinerary for the yatra:

Day 1: ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU

Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. Meal Plan: (B/L/D)

Day 2: KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour to Pashupatinath, Jal Narayan, and Guheshwari Temple. After lunch, prepare for the Kailash Yatra. Meal Plan: (B/L/D)

Day 03: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (2900 Meters, 150 km, 08-09 hours drive)

Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (2400m), a 152 km journey that takes approximately 7 hours. Overnight stay at a hotel. Meal Plan: (B/L/D)

Day 04: Syabrubesi To Rasuwa Gadi To Gyirong

Drive to Rasuwa Gadi (15 km). After completing immigration and customs formalities on both the Nepalese and Chinese sides, continue the drive to the small town of Kerung (3700m) for an overnight stay. Meal Plan: (B/L/D)

Day 05: Kerung REST DAY

  • Rest day for altitude acclimatization in Gyirong . Meal Plan: (B/L/D)

Day 06: Kerung TO DONGPA

  • After breakfast, drive to Dongpa (4500m), a 250 km journey. Enjoy grand views of Mount Shishapangma (8021m), Gauri Shankar, and other high mountains from the Gurung La Pass (5050m). Overnight stay at Dongpa. Meal Plan: (B/L/D)

Day 07: DONGPA TO HORCHU (MANSAROVAR)

  • Drive to Lake Manasarovar (4500m), a 385 km journey. This is a very auspicious day for everyone, as you’ll get your first glimpse of the Holy Manasarovar and see Mount Kailash from the Horchu Pass.
  • Overnight stay at Chhu Gompa Lodge, located on the shores of Lake Manasarovar. Meal Plan: (B/L/D)

Day 08: MANSAROVAR TO DARCHEN

  • After breakfast, drive from Manasarovar to Darchen (4560m).
  • Overnight stay at Darchen, preparing for the Kailash Parikrama. Meal Plan: (B/L/D)

Day 09: DARCHEN – YAMDHWAR – DIRAPUK

  • After breakfast, drive to Yamdwar (8 km). Start the trek to Diraphuk (4890m), which is a 12 km walk that takes approximately 4-5 hours.
  • The Parikrama (circumambulation) begins here. Overnight stay at Diraphuk. Meal Plan: (B/L/D)

Day 10: DIRAPUK TO CHARANSPARSH

  • After breakfast, trek to Charansparsh, near the north face of Mount Kailash, perform puja, and return to Diraphuk. Meal Plan: (B/L/D)

Day 11: DIRAPUK TO KUBERKUND TO ZUTHULPUK

  • After breakfast, trek to Zuthulphuk (4790m), a 20 km journey via Kuber Pass, Kuber Valley, and Kuber Kunda. Descend to Zuthulphuk for an overnight stay. Meal Plan: (B/L/D)

Day 12: ZUTHULPUK TO DARCHEN

  • After breakfast, trek 8 km to the point where jeeps will be waiting to drive you to Darchen.
  • The Parikrama ends here. Stay overnight in Darchen. Meal Plan: (B/L/D)

Day 13: DARCHEN – SAPTARUSHI – NANDI KORA – DARCHEN

  • Early morning trek to Austhapath, visit Saptarishi Cave, and complete the Nandi Parikrama.
  • Return to Darchen for an overnight stay. Meal Plan: (B/L/D)

Day 14: DARCHEN TO DONGPA

  • Early morning drive back to Dongpa. Meal Plan: (B/L/D)

Day 15:DONGPA TO Gyirong

  • Drive back to Gyirong for an overnight stay. Meal Plan: (B/L/D)

Day 16:Gyirong TO KATHMANDU

  • Drive from Gyirong back to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. Meal Plan: (B/L/D)

Day 17 :DEPARTURE FROM KATHMANDU

  • Departure transfer to Kathmandu airport. Meal Plan: (B)
    Trip concludes.

  • Accommodation in 3-5 star standard hotels for 3 nights in Kathmandu with full board meals.

  • Tibet visa, entry permit, Kailash Parikrama entry fee, and entry tour fees. Includes 2 nights during the Parikrama with full vegetarian meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Packed lunches will be provided while driving and trekking during the Parikrama, prepared by experienced Indian cooks.
  • English and Hindi-speaking Nepalese guide, English-speaking Chinese guide, and required Nepalese Sherpas.
  • Super luxury bus for transportation and a supporting truck for luggage.
  • Yak and yak men for carrying luggage during the Parikrama.
  • First aid, oxygen cylinders, and a Holy Lake Manasarovar Parikrama (Circuit) by drive.
  • Duffle bag, down jackets, and day pack (provided as a souvenir gift from our company).

Excluded Services

  • Tips, personal expenses, beverages, cold drinks, phone calls, and rescue/emergency costs.
  • Medical and hospital expenses (in case of illness during the Kailash Yatra).
  • Travel insurance, personal riding horse, personal porter, and international flight tickets.

Documents Required

  • A clear color scan of your passport and 25% advance payment at least 30 days before the trip for Tibet group visa processing.

Cancellation Policy

  • Once the Group-Naming list has been submitted for the permit, any cancellations will incur a penalty for each individual. Please note that the permit application is processed 60 days prior to the scheduled travel date.
  • If the Yatri cancels the tour 45 Days before the date of departure, 75% of total payment will be refunded.
  • If the Yatri cancels the tour 30 Days before the date of departure, 50% of total payment will be refunded.
  • If the Yatri cancels the tour 15 Days before the date of departure, NO payment will be refunded.

Emergency Departure and Associated Costs

In the event of an unforeseen emergency requiring a Yatri to depart the Yatra prematurely and seek to return, the Yatri will be fully responsible for any additional costs incurred due to this early departure. These expenses may include, but are not limited to:

  • Permit and visa cancellations
  • Transportation costs (e.g., return travel)
  • Meals and lodging
  • Medical care
  • Emergency rescue services
  • Any supplementary nights spent on the Nepal side of the journey
  • The Yatri will bear the full financial responsibility for these costs.
