DAY 1: DELHI – CHANDIGARH – MANALI | 560 KMS | 12-13 HOURS
Board an overnight Volvo bus from Delhi, Chandigarh, or Bhuntar to Manali. Be prepared for a long journey, and rest up for the adventure ahead.
DAY 2: KULLU MANALI
Arrive in Manali and check into your guesthouse. After some rest, join an orientation session and tour briefing. Then, take a relaxing walk around Hadimba Temple and Manu Temple by the Beas River. Hadimba Temple is dedicated to Hadimba Devi, wife of Bhima from the Mahabharata, and Manu Temple honors sage Manu, the creator of the world. Return to the guesthouse for a bike trial run.
DAY 3: MANALI – ROHTANG PASS – JISPA | 140 KMS | 8 HOURS
The ride to Ladakh begins! Drive past Vashisht Hot Springs, known for their warm waters even in cold temperatures. Next, visit Solang Valley for some winter sports and continue to Rohtang Pass and Keylong before reaching Jispa for an overnight stay.
DAY 4: JISPA – SARCHU | 90 KMS | 6 HOURS
Cross the 16,043-ft-high Bara-lacha La Pass, experiencing thrilling rides over rough terrain. Enjoy the scenic beauty near Chandrabhaga River (Chenab) and take stunning photos at Suraj Taal and Deepak Taal lakes. Arrive in Sarchu and relax for the night.
DAY 5: SARCHU – LEH | 253 KMS | 10 HOURS
Continue your journey to Leh, passing through Nakeela Pass, Whisky Nallah, Lachulung La Pass, Pang, More Plains, and Tanglang La Pass. Once in Leh, check into your accommodation and stay overnight.
DAY 6: LEH
After a restful breakfast, enjoy a free day in Leh. The morning is reserved for bike checks and gear inspections. Spend the rest of the day exploring Leh Palace, with panoramic views of the Stok Kangri and Ladakh mountain ranges, and visit the Shanti Stupa. In the evening, explore the vibrant markets of Leh and interact with the friendly locals.
DAY 7: LEH – KHARDUNG LA PASS – NUBRA VALLEY | 120 KMS | 4-5 HOURS
Travel to Nubra Valley, crossing the renowned Khardung La Pass, one of the world’s highest motorable roads. In Nubra, enjoy a camel ride through the desert mountains of Hunder (additional cost). Overnight stay in Nubra.
DAY 8: NUBRA VALLEY – PANGONG LAKE | 150 KMS | 6-7 HOURS
Embark on a thrilling ride to Pangong Tso (Lake), passing through the Shyok River or Wari La Pass. The journey is challenging yet rewarding. Upon arrival, enjoy a captivating overnight camp by the crystal-clear blue lake.
DAY 9: PANGONG LAKE – LEH | 150 KMS | 4-5 HOURS
Begin your return journey to Leh via Chang La Pass, the third highest mountain pass in the world. Visit the Druk White Lotus School, made famous by the movie 3 Idiots, and see the Shanti Stupa. Time permitting, stop at Magnetic Hill, the War Memorial, and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Stay overnight in Leh.
DAY 10: LEH CHECKOUT AFTER BREAKFAST. TRIP ENDS

HOW TO REACH
By Air:
Flights to Leh are available year-round. Note that Leh Airport is a military airport, and security checks are stricter. Ensure you have a printout of your e-ticket to avoid entry issues. Taxis are available from the airport to your hotel.
By Bus:
For a more adventurous route, take a bus from Jammu and Kashmir or Manali to Leh. The journey takes around 4 days from New Delhi.
By Train:
The nearest railway stations are in Pathankot and Chandigarh, but this option requires a bus ride of about three days to Leh, so it’s generally avoided by most travelers.
Road/Self Drive:
For adventure seekers, driving to Leh is a dream come true. Choose from a motorbike, jeep, SUV, or even a bicycle to take this thrilling journey. The road can be accessed via Jammu and Kashmir (lower route) or Rohtang La via Keylong and Sarchu (higher route).
