Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns. Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary; however, since this adventure entails travelling in remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee that we will not deviate from it. Weather conditions, health condition of a group member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. The leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required.

10 Days Tour

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)
A representative from Nidhi Tours and Travels will greet us at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. We’ll enjoy a short drive to our hotel. After a brief rest, we will gather for a trek briefing. In the evening, we’ll experience Nepalese cuisine at a welcome dinner hosted by Leaf Holidays. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara (827m/2,700ft): 6-7 hours
On the drive to Pokhara, we’ll pass through scenic terraced fields, roadside shops, and the flowing Trishuli River. Known as the “City of Lakes,” Pokhara offers stunning views of the Himalayas, including Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, and the five peaks of Annapurna. The city is a popular tourist destination, and we’ll have some leisure time in the evening to explore.

Day 03: Drive to Phedi and trek to Deurali (2,100m/6,720ft): 30-minute drive, 4-5 hours trek
After an early breakfast, we drive to Phedi and begin our trek. We’ll walk along stone steps, through terraced fields, villages, and forests, reaching Dhampus for lunch. The trek continues to Deurali, a village perched on a ridge with breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Mardi Himal, and Machhapuchhre.

Day 04: Deurali to Forest Camp (2,520m/8,064ft): 6-7 hours
The trail leads through lush forests, adorned with vibrant red rhododendrons, Nepal’s national flower. The quiet trail brings us to the Forest Camp, also known as Kokar, where we can rest and explore the area.

Day 05: Forest Camp to Low Camp (2,970m/9,504ft): 5-6 hours
Continuing through dense forests, we enjoy Nepal’s rich biodiversity on the way to Low Camp. From here, we’re treated to stunning views of Mt. Machapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail). In the evening, we can explore the local lifestyle.

Day 06: Low Camp to High Camp (3,540m/11,328ft): 3-4 hours
We ascend towards Mardi Himal and Machhapuchhre, passing through thinning tree lines and areas with isolated rhododendron bushes. If fortunate, we may spot the national bird of Nepal, the Himalayan Monal. The trek ends at High Camp, where the views are nothing short of spectacular.

Day 07: High Camp to Upper Viewpoint (4,250m/13,600ft), return to High Camp: 2-3 hours
Today’s trek takes us to the Upper Viewpoint, where the Himalayan panorama is truly breathtaking. From here, we can see Mardi Himal, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Baraha Shikhar, Tent Peak, Singhachuli, and Machhapuchhre. We return to High Camp for an overnight stay.

Day 08: High Camp to Sidhing Village (1,700m/5,440ft): 6-7 hours
We take an alternative route from High Camp to Sidhing, offering a different experience and excitement. Sidhing, located away from the main trails, provides a peaceful atmosphere for trekkers.

Day 09: Trek to Lumre, drive to Pokhara, and fly to Kathmandu: 2-3 hours trek, 2-hour drive, 25-minute flight
After an early breakfast, we trek to Lumre, where we catch a drive to Pokhara. From there, we take a short flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, a representative from Himalayan Glacier will transfer us to our hotel. In the evening, we’ll enjoy a farewell dinner to celebrate the completion of our Mardi Himal trek.

Day 10: Final Departure
A friendly representative will escort you to the airport for your departure. We trust that your Mardi Himal trek will inspire you to return to Nepal, and we look forward to planning your next adventure.

Cancellation Policy

  • After the Group-Naming list has been submitted for the permit, any cancellations will incur a fee of USD 500 per person. (The permit application is made 60 days prior to the travel date).
  • If the Yatri cancels the tour 45 Days before the date of departure, 75% of total payment will be refunded.
  • If the Yatri cancels the tour 30 Days before the date of departure, 50% of total payment will be refunded.
  • If the Yatri cancels the tour 15 Days before the date of departure, NO payment will be refunded.

Emergency Departure and Associated Costs

In the event of an unforeseen emergency requiring a Yatri to depart the Yatra prematurely and seek to return, the Yatri will be fully responsible for any additional costs incurred due to this early departure. These expenses may include, but are not limited to:

  • Permit and visa cancellations
  • Transportation costs (e.g., return travel)
  • Meals and lodging
  • Medical care
  • Emergency rescue services
  • Any supplementary nights spent on the Nepal side of the journey
  • The Yatri will bear the full financial responsibility for these costs.
